Voluma injections are used to restore volume through the use of a hyaluronic-based gel that is injected under the skin.

There is very little discomfort when receiving Voluma injections, as the treatment is non-surgical, and a numbing agent called lidocaine is mixed with the solution prior to injection. You may feel slight discomfort in the treatment area due to pressure as Voluma is injected into the skin. Treatment takes around an hour, and patients will see results immediately.

The typical age of patients who receive Voluma is 30 to 70 and are those who are seeking treatment as a result of visible signs of aging due to loss of volume.
