Dr. Ransom and Colleagues Featured in Facial Plastic Surgery Times

This past fall, Dr. Ransom and some colleagues from the East Coast returned to Santa Marta, Colombia to perform cleft lip and palate surgery as part of a surgical mission team. During this trip, he was able to see some of his patients from previous missions and perform repairs on 20 new patients. This mission is part of the Healing the Children program, which provides free specialty surgery and dental care for children abroad. In addition to the annual fall mission to Colombia, previous missions have served Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, Thailand, and others.
